I'm always on the hunt for tremendous feats of performance from vehicles that are sometimes overlooked as tuner platforms. It's where you find the true enthusiast, the guys who innovate, who take the non-conventional path because it IS more difficult.
I don't know what got into these guys heads that made them take a mild-mannered Audi 90 sedan and transform it into a 1,000 HP AWD 9-second monster, but I want some!
It goes fast and it sounds great. Ok, it's not much to look at, but it DOES eat Vipers...
Watch the poor Quattro almost disintegrate at 1:30 on the video below, and appreciate the craftsmanship it takes to harness a sub - 10 second beast in a platform designed to handle 1/5th the power. FTW!!!
