Joey Hand: A Lap of Watkins Glen

Watkins Glen always gives me that pucker feeling. It's the armco barriers that really freak me out. Did you know that if you are unfortunate enough to impact and damage one of those barriers; not only do you need to deal with your mangled car, you also have to PAY for the barrier. Talk about insult to injury...
I'll tell you this: if I ever have to pay for one, I'm taking it home with me and mounting it over my fireplace.
Like a trophy.

4 hours 35 minutes left to go... 2011 Rolex 24

Montoya the madman has left a trail of broken race cars and spare parts behind him on his charge to the front. His aggressive style has left everyone else behind, and most of the other DP competitors looking for blood. It's far from over, below is the start in case you missed it!

Don't forget that LIVE audio coverage is available on Grand-Am's website!

BMW M3 GT, in-car footage

Of all the things I thought of while watching this video, why is it that I am most interested in what type of bracket was used for the camera mount?

Fly-By! Turner's Grand-AM M3 buzzes the tower!

I apologize in advance to my cubicle-mates.
I'll have this on continuous loop for the next 2 days at least.
Don't hate me because I love the sound of BMW V8's mated to a sequential box...

If you enjoyed that, you'll need a smoke after the next one...

Turner Motorsport update: Rolex GT BMW M3

As the snow melts over the last few days, the somewhat unseasonable warm weather has brought me thoughts of springtime, when engines will awaken from their winter slumber, tires can sing a sweet screech yet again, and RPM's can be set free once more... yes the Rolex 24 at Daytona is right around the corner.
