2011 - Ford Transit Trophy

In our never-ending effort to bring you all things motorsport, here is some racing ridiculousness that can't be ignored. That's right racefans- parts truck racing.


Now that's something you don't see everyday -

Some people will race anything with wheels.
File this under "unconventional racing platforms", "101 uses for a big-rig", or "dude, where's my trailer?".
I file it under "heavy-duty Blending"... but that's just me...


And your eyes did not deceive you... that was a full-on power slide in a cab-over big rig. If that isn't BLENDING; I don't know what is!

Big Rig Rallyin'

Keeping all that tonnage under some semblance of control is impressive. I see they have ample acceleration, handle considerably well, and you have to respect that suspension travel, but how well do you think they stop?

Mass + Speed = ...well, you decide!

Sometimes more is, well, just more. Anyone who says size doesn't matter probably wasn't that big. We are still talking about motorsports, so take it easy.
