Racing is more about finesse than power. When your doing it right it feels like dancing. This is most apparent when in a Spec Miata. Watch Brody Goble move from last place to 4th using his wits, patience, and yes; momentum. Even when more powerful cars do something stupid in front of you, patience must remain in plentiful supply. Sure a little venting helps (like at 8:25), but never let it get in the way of your primary focus: maintain your rhythm, preserve your momentum.
