Speaking of mayhem -
Even though crews spent the better part of the week welding and bolting down manhole covers all along the course; one managed to be expelled at turn 9. The extreme vacuum produced by speeding race cars is enough to lift a 50 kg piece of metal.
Go figure Driven (2001) actually had ONE element of truth....
Since even 3 minutes of this film is too much for any true race fan to stomach; go to .36 as quickly as possible.
Could you imagine an iron disc hurtling thru your windshield at racing speeds?
I diligently tried to find a pic of the wayward cover, but alas, came up empty. Bummer.
