Daytona 500 history before your eyes

Trevor Bayne, at the ripe old age of 20, has become the youngest winner of the Daytona 500.
He also was the second driver to ever have won the 500 on his first attempt (the first was Lee Petty who won the first race in 1959). This was also Bayne's second NASCAR start, allowing him to share the respect of having the quickest victory at the start of his professional racing career (Jamie Mcmurray won his second race as well, Charlotte 2002).

It was also 1 day past Bayne's 20th birthday. I guess when you blow out those candles and make a wish, sometimes they can come true.

What other records were shattered on the newly paved surface at Daytona? How about 74 lead changes, 22 different leaders and 16 cautions.

Take in the clip and relive the exciting finish!

"It's crazy to get my first win before a Nationwide win -- I didn't know how to get to Victory Lane." - Trevor Bayne
